Apple iPad Price Lower Than Expected, Starts at $499

Apple CEO, Steve Jobs finally revealed the price of the Apple iPad. People foresaw that this new gadget will be very expensive but their guessed amount was lower than they expected. The price was set that way because the company wants the gadget to be affordable for everyone who wants it. The 3G plan is available in AT&T. The first Wi-Fi models will start to ship in 60 days, after 30 days, the next models with the 3G versions and the international version will be available from June.

Here’s the pricelist:

  • iPad with 16-gig with WiFi is worth $499
  • iPad with 32-gig with WiFi is worth $599
  • iPad with 64-gig with WiFi is worth $699
  • iPad with 16-gig with WiFi and 3G is worth $629
  • iPad with 32-gig with WiFi and 3G is worth $729
  • iPad with 64-gig with WiFi and 3G is worth $829
