I’m in the office today when someone sent me this text message:

“DAUDITOR’S of PGMA. CHARITY FOUNDATION N’FORM u dat ur CELFON nos. Won P950,000 2nd Prize Winner, draw Last SEPT,(24)’09 DTI/NCR PERMIT #1809 SER. 2009. PLZ CALL ME NOW ATTY. REY A. CUANGCO contact #09291802995.”

I read it loud so that my officemates will know it, we all knew that it was a scam. Because “may toyo ako” I decided to call the number he wanted me to contact. When he already answered it, I record our conversation.

At first I acted as if I’m very excited that I won, he didn’t know that I was excited because I will make a fool out of him. He asked my name and address, and he told me to call him again after that for the claiming procedure. Then I suddenly asked him about his promo number, I asked him why it’s not a four-digit code only. He couldn’t explain it and then he hung up. Haha! He chose the wrong guy!
