Innovation, that’s what the Korea Electronics Show is all about, showcasing the technology that contributes to the rapid development of different products. Korea’s biggest electronics show is an event held every October and that’s the time they meet with buyers from North America, Europe and the Middle East. With their success in the 2010 Korea Electronics Show wherein 1, 283 representatives of IT industries who came from 23 countries participated, now this event is considered as a pilgrimage to those innovation enthusiasts. This year it was believed that over 1000 companies from 30 different countries will participate and they will present the products and brag about its functionality and advancements.

This year’s Korea Electronics Show was organized by Korean Electronics Association (KEA) and it will be held at KINTEX (Korean International Exhibition Center), and will be hosted by Korea Ministry of Knowledge Economy. This 4-day event will start in October 12 at 10:00 a.m. and KES’ theme for this year is “Be Smart”

If you plan to check the electronics show, the visiting hours starts at 10:00 a.m. and ends at 5:00 p.m. from October 12 to October 15, 2011. This is a great chance for different companies to impress buyers about their product, it may be cell phones, semiconductors, automotive electronics, multimedia and other forms of communication. “Anything that is too much is bad!” Recently, a 20-year old son died because of overplaying Xbox games. Chris Staniforth died because of pulmonary embolism, this occurs when someone sits in the same position for several hours. This death-causing effect usually happened to passengers with long flights, and experts say that this can also happen to gamers if they don’t take several breaks. Even a professor on blood-related conditions confirms that it was really unhealthy to have a gaming habit like that.

According to David Staniforth, Chris’ father said that his son played Halo for 12 hours. David started a campaign that aims to make gamers realize that too much playing online games can kill them. He wants to warn gamers and parents as well about the risk of too much playing online games.

This is not the first time that this incident happened, in 2005, a South Korean gamer died because of playing for three days without a break. Also, studies show that Asian players usually collapsed after 15 hours of playing games. What a weird fact is that?

China just opened the world’s longest sea-cross bridge last Thursday, June 30, 2011. The Jiaozhou Bay Bridge in Qingdao is 42 kilometers (26 miles) long, it links China’s eastern port city of Qingdao and an offshore island named Huangdao. Check the image after the jump

It is really fun to sit with someone special, talk about something and share some thoughts with him or her. A while ago, my girl and I had a little chat, it’s about dying.  It all started when I told her that when I die, I want her to donate my eyes, my heart and my kidney to a hospital so that those who need such organs for their transplant will benefit it. I also told her that if ever I will have an incurable sickness or disease or if I’ll be in comatose state, I want her to leave me and she can find someone else to love. I don’t want her to suffer because of me, I told her that it’s fine with me and she has my approval.

Then she asked me this question, she said “What if I am the one who is experiencing those that you said and I ask you not to leave me, will you stay? I said, “Of course, I will not leave you.”

Here’s the rest of the conversation:

Honey: What if I asked you to marry me even if you know that I am going to die?

Me: Sure, I’ll marry you!

Honey: Where?

Me: Sa Huwes!

Honey:  What if my last wish is to have a Church Wedding?

Me: Ok, let’s have a church wedding, pero wala nang handa.

Honey: Bakit naman?

Me: Sayang naman, pambili na lang natin ng gamot mo ‘yun malay mo gumaling ka pa, anu gusto mo may handa tapos mamatay ka naman,o ‘yung walang handa tapos mabubuhay ka? Oh di ba?

When she heard my answer, all she did was laugh, she never thought that I would answer that way, she almost had asthma because of laughing.

I don’t know if I really am a weird boyfriend or just a guy who speak out what’s on his mind. I think I am a very direct to the point person with a weird sense of humor. If she read this, she might kill me if she will know that I shared our conversation.

Today is June 1, 2011, and today a rare partial solar eclipse will be happen, but sadly India will not be able to see this. Countries such as Siberia, Northern China, Alaska and Nova Scotia which are located at the latitudes of the Northern Hemispheres will experience great visibility of the partial eclipse. The eclipse begins at 00:55:18 IST and the maximum eclipse will occur at 02:46:11 IST.

Another eclipse will happen and this time it will be a total lunar eclipse that will be visible on June 15, 2011.This time, the Indian region as well as South America and Australia will witness this eclipse which will start at 11:52 p.m. to 2:32 a.m. on June 16. Sky gazers will be very happy with these eclipses, imagine two eclipses in one month, that’s rare.
