Thanks to the Multifunction Printer

One of the most utilized office equipment we use every day is the printer. Printing hard copies and photocopying documents, they are just the basic functions of this useful equipment. Can you still remember the days when you have to wait for a very long time just to print a single page while using that noisy ink-ribbon printer? How about those instances when you spent lots of time aligning the paper and replacing it when you have to use a different paper size?

Thanks to the developer/inventor of the multifunction printer! Here in our office we have one Fuji Zerox IV-C2270 which has very impressive features. The feature I want about our multifunction printer is the document management wherein everything is fully automated.

All you have to do is fill the paper trays with the paper sizes you need then setting things up in your computer before you hit that “print” button and that’s it. One more thing, there’s no need to worry about overlapping printed documents if there are many people using the printer. This multifunction printer has this “Secure Print” feature that enables each user to store documents before printing it, the good thing about this one is you can print the batch of documents you wanted without worrying if other users might interrupt.

Those are just few of the several features of this outstanding office equipment. Employees from small to big businesses can experience ease and lessen delays on their documentation process. This is innovation at work!

This Droid Bionic was announced by Motorola last January and now the release date was confirmed through Verizon Wireless’ Twitter. According to the “tweeted” post, the Motorola Droid Bionic will be released on September 8. Motorola Droid Bionic was believed to be the rival of the iPhone 5 which until now has no specific date of release. How bionic is this phone?

Razer unveils their very first true gaming laptop and they call it the “Razer Blade”. This is the most awaited product from them after they tackled PC gaming on their website. According to Wen Ai Yu, Google+ Team member, they are now rolling out Google+ Verification Badge so that people will be sure if the profile or member they are adding on their circles are really who they claim to be. As of now many public figures and celebrities are joining Google+ so they decided to put this enhancement, this is a good help if users are in doubt on a certain profile. It’s a good thing that they also plan to have the verification badges to more users, as of now their priorities are for those people who are added to a large number of circles.

Korea Electronics Show: Experience Innovation at Its Best

Innovation, that’s what the Korea Electronics Show is all about, showcasing the technology that contributes to the rapid development of different products. Korea’s biggest electronics show is an event held every October and that’s the time they meet with buyers from North America, Europe and the Middle East. With their success in the 2010 Korea Electronics Show wherein 1, 283 representatives of IT industries who came from 23 countries participated, now this event is considered as a pilgrimage to those innovation enthusiasts. This year it was believed that over 1000 companies from 30 different countries will participate and they will present the products and brag about its functionality and advancements.

This year’s Korea Electronics Show was organized by Korean Electronics Association (KEA) and it will be held at KINTEX (Korean International Exhibition Center), and will be hosted by Korea Ministry of Knowledge Economy. This 4-day event will start in October 12 at 10:00 a.m. and KES’ theme for this year is “Be Smart”

If you plan to check the electronics show, the visiting hours starts at 10:00 a.m. and ends at 5:00 p.m. from October 12 to October 15, 2011. Google Plus, Now with Games and Promises Never to Spam your Page

Google plus have included time-wasters on their social network, what I mean is they now added games (LOL). There’s a difference between Facebook and Google+ in this feature, Google+ promises that they won’t spam your stream. How? All your gamer-related messages can be seen on a separate “tab” a “Games tab” which is the same as the Home, Profile, Circles etc. When you click that tab you will see game updates, game invites and even the recent game played by your friend.

Twitter’s Rival Unveiled: Heello

Noah Everett, founder of Twitpic unveiled “Heello”…the so-called “Twitter clone”. Heello has the same features of Twitter (kaya nga clone di ba?), but there are some differences in some aspects. We call it “tweet” in Twitter, they call it “pings” once we sent a status message. We call it “retweet” in Twitter, they call it “echo” once we repost something. Another difference is, status updates change in real-time, unlike in Twitter that you will see the recent updates when you click a message below your “status update bar”.

Heello is also integrated to Twitter and Facebook and to different social networks. Here’s more, Heello will support video, checkins, SMS, mobile apps and other future development, according to Noah Everett.

Anyway, as the saying says “Imitation is the highest form of flattery”, I don’t know if that’s applicable in the cyber world.
