First of all, I would like to invite my fellow bloggers to join this special poll. It is about the “Netizen’s Choice Awards for Bloggers’ Choice for the Most Favorite TV Station” (please check the image below for the mechanics on how to join). By the way, the deadline for submission is extended until December 13, 2013, 11:59 p.m.

Hmmm, which among the TV stations I think is best? Before I reveal my choice, I just want to clear that I am not really fond of watching television shows this past few months, and actually I only watch few shows. I am quite a busy person, office works by day and blogging (also online gaming LOL) by night. But even though I have a very hectic schedule, I always try to find time to watch my favorite television shows.

Ladies and gentlemen, I chose GMA Kapuso (GMA 7). I am not telling that the other television stations or their shows are not that good, but as I tally the shows I have been watching, four (4) of my favorite shows are from this particular station. They are: Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho, Reporter’s Notebook, Bubble Gang and Eat Bulaga.

So why do I chose them?

• Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho – this show and Reporter’s Notebook are my inspirations why I have my blog Semidoppel’s Reports. KMJS is a docu-educational and lifestyle public affair TV show and as you can see, if you are an avid reader of my blog (I wish you are) you will notice that some of my articles here are based on the same plot of the show.

• Reporter’s Notebook – this is an investigative news magazine show and as I mentioned earlier, this is also one of my inspirations in blogging. Notice the analogy? Investigate:Observe (check my tagline), it is somewhat synonymous or similar in aspect. If you notice my blog title “Semidoppel’s Reports” it has the word “report” on it, same to the show’s title. If you check my tagline again you will see the part “Welcome to my Online Journal…” and as we may notice a reporter’s notebook is basically his journal, see the similarities?

• Bubble Gang – No doubt I am a big fan of this gag show since I was young. I really liked to watch this sketch comedy show especially on a Friday night, to make me feel relaxed after the very stressful workdays. Also, I am a big fan of Michael V, this guy is very talented.

• Eat Bulaga – this longest-running variety show which celebrated their 33^rd anniversary is also my favorite. Although many noontime shows emerged and tried to compete against Eat Bulaga, this show’s shine never faded. Also, what I like from this show is their way on making people happy, they can touch people’s lives during their show and even off cam. Though I know that some competitors somewhat do the same, the approach which Eat Bulaga do is like treating you as part of their “dabarkads”.
