HTC HD Mini Announced at Mobile World Congress

The more compact HTC phone with 3.2 inch HVGA screen and powered by Windows Mobile 6.5.3 was announced today at MWC. The phone will be launched this April (together with HTC Desire and HTC Legend), though it doesn’t run in Windows 7 operating system, you can still enjoy connectivity with its WiFi and GPS with 7.2 Mbps connectivity through HSPA networks. The processor is responsive enough, it has 600 Mhz, with 5 mega pixel camera and 320×480 screen resolution. The phones that will be launched this April will be shipped to Europe and Asia. Two phones will be launched together with the HTC mini, they are the HTC Legend which comes with the similar form factor of HTC Hero and running with a 600MHz processor with Android 2.1. The screen is HVGA so it’s okay. For the HTC Desire/Bravo, it’s like the Google Phone. HTC Desire/Bravo has 3.7? AMOLED screen, 1GHz Snapdragon processor, and also Android 2.1. HTC Desire/Bravo has something different from the Google Phone. It does not have trackball and it also comes with HTC Sense UI. It’s available to Europe and Asia in the second quarter of 2010.
