J.K Rowling Facing a Plagiarism Lawsuit
The well-known author of the book “Harry Potter” is now facing a plagiarism lawsuit filed by another British author. Allegedly, she stole ideas for her fourth book “Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire” from the book of the late Adrian Jacobs’ “The Adventures of Willy and the Wizard – No.1 Livid Land” published in 1987. The author died in 1997, but his estate is the one who filed the lawsuit last Wednesday in London court.
J.K. Rowling has no comments about the allegations filed against her. Max Markson said last Tuesday that “I estimate it’s a billion-dollar case…. That’ll be the decision of the courts, obviously.”
