Lindsay Lohan’s Controversial Photo in Purple Magazine

Wikio

Yes she did it again! Lindsay Lohan recently becomes the center of attention when the cover photo of the French magazine, Purple was revealed. She was postured in a crucifixion-style, wearing a white robe and a crown of thorns. It looked like a portrayal of a Christ-like figure, obviously not only because of what she wore but because of the outstretched arms she did or told to do so during the photo shoot. According to an interview of Politics Daily to Bill Donahue, the head of the Catholic League, she said that “Not only is the pose inappropriate, the timing is offensive.” (The start of the sacred Lenten season is on Wednesday,  Ash Wednesday, a Catholic holy tradition.) The photo was taken by Terry Richardson, also a controversial photographer, and will officially appear on the spring-summer 2010 cover of Purple Magazine.
