Manny Pacquiao Included in TIME Magazine’s Poll

Pacquio is on the list again! Last April 1, 2010, TIME Magazine started a poll and it’s about the 100 most influential people in the world 2010. The Philippine’s pride and pound-for-pound king Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao was included on the list. Included in the said poll are the most powerful personalities like US President Barack Obama, US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Oprah Winfrey and Conan O’ Brien.  On TIME Magazine’s “Heroes & Icons” in 2009, Pacquiao ranked 20. In fact, in the Philippines he really is influential because  everytime he has a match, there are very low crime rates all over the country. When he wins a match and returned to the Philippines, different politicians are rushing to be with him,

For now, ranking to be on the high spot in the poll is not his goal, his priority as of now is this upcoming election. He’s now campaigning for a seat in Congress and that’s the fight he really wants to win.
