Miss Michigan Rima Fakih is Miss USA 2010

The 24-year old Rima Fakih of Michigan is the new Miss USA, beating about fifty women who joined the pageant. The pageant was held at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino on the Las Vegas strip.
She is an Arab-American (a Lebanese immigrant) who was raised in New York, according to her, her family is celebrates both Christian and Muslim faiths. The pageant officials are not certain if she is the first Arab-American who became Miss USA because historical pageant records were not detailed enough to verify it. Fakih replace Miss USA 2009 Kristen Dalton.
