Pacquiao and Clottey Weigh-In
Manny Pacquiao and Joshua Clottey just have their weigh-in this early morning in Dallas. Both fighters made to maintain their weight to be allowed in the welterweight division. Manny was believed to be struggling to keep his weight, he weighed 145 ¾ pounds, while Joshua Clottey has 147 pounds. Many say that Clottey has the advantage over Pacquiao, but even he is bigger than Manny, the speed advantage is still on Pacquiao. In terms of speed, Floyd Mayweather was believed to be the only one who can match the speed of Pacquiao, but the fight might not happen anymore because of the statement of Pacquiao that a fight between him and Floyd is now impossible to happen.
Critics said that Manny should avoid having headbutts with Clottey because Pacquiao might get cuts from it. To make this possible, he should keep distance to Clottey, this might change the style of Pacquiao a little bit, as we all know, Pacquiao is a straight forward attacker.
