Prime Minister Berlusconi Assaulted in Milan
Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi was assaulted in Milan by a man that was believed with a history of mental illness.While the prime minister is busy signing autographs at a rally in Milan, Massimo Tartaglia, his attacker suddenly threw a statuette at him.
He was ushered into a car but come out of the car again to show the crowd that he was not badly injured. After that, he was rushed to the hospital, still covered in blood.
Berlusconi, who suffered a small fracture of the nose, 2 broken teeth, bruises and a bloodied lip in the attack, was kept in hospital overnight for observation and may need up to 15 days to recover. His attacker Massimo Tartaglia, was already taken into custody.
Berlusconi is not the only one wo suffered that kind of incident. Different politicians and celebrities also faced the same indignity in the past. Just like what happened to Leona Lewsi, Richard Fuld, Peter Mandelso, Prime Minister Ted Heath, and feminist Daniela Santache.
