PS3 Network Down Confirmed by PSN on Twitter

Gamers around the globe are so disappointed because they cannot connect to the PS3 Network. Sony confirmed it on their Twitter profile and to their PS3 blog. A glitch in the Sony PS3 Network made a connection problem that made consoles to the online stores, download and multiplayer games inaccessible.  According to a report, not all consoles are affected, the older version of the PS3 consoles are mostly affected but not the slim types that were launched recently. According to Makiko Noda, spokeswoman for Sony Entertainment in Tokyo, she stated that as of 3 p.m. (Japan time) the company had still not determined the cause of the problem.
