Salahi Couple Crash at First State Dinner
Last Tuesday a Virginia couple has attended the White House State Dinner without being on the invitation list. They are Michaele and Tareq Salahi who joined Mr. and Mrs. Obama while on a state dinner in the honor of Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.The couple sneaked in White House to attend the said dinner and virtually it was unknown on how they managed to penetrate through the security checks.
According to the reports, this couple entered the party area; they meet and had photographed with Vice President Joe Biden and Chief of Staff of White House Rahm Emanuel, Washington Mayor Adrian Fenty, CBS News anchor Katie Couric, Rep. Ed Royce, R-Calif., and three Marines in their dress blues and the photos shows they were in very good mood with them.
It was quite a big party; 300 guests from different fields of life were invited at the White House, making the so called multi security at high alert. According to a security representative, he told that the security procedures were not followed properly because same security equipments and levels which were there for the other guests.
