Sex Education in Primary Schools|Agree or Disagree?
Recently, the Department of Education (DepEd) added “Sex Education” in this year’s curriculum. Students on grade five (children as young as eleven) will be taught awareness on sex. The Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines reacted about it and stand that it is not necessary to include such sensitive topic in the curriculum. They believed that sex education should be the parents’ responsibility to their child.
