Dave Brubeck Honoree in this Year’s Kennedy Center Honors
Dave Brubeck is an American Jazz pianist that recently was one of the honorees in this year’s Kennedy Center Honors. He wrote the “In Your Own Sweet Way” and “The Duke”, his music is known for employing unusual time signatures, and superimposing contrasting rhythms, meters, and tonalities.
