WILLIE REVILLAME on CORY’S FUNERAL MOTORCADE : My Comment

While watching Wowowee, Willie suddenly wanted to stop the live feed of Cory’s funeral motorcade. I heard what he said, and I think his motive should be taken positively. I am not a Wowowee fan neither a Willie fan, but when he said those things on his show, I think I get his point.

For me, he wanted to stop the live feed while he was having his show. Wowowee is a gameshow, naturally, it should be full of fun. It might have been better if Wowowee will not be aired that time. He wanted to make it stop because he wanted to consider those people who are in grief that time. The term “Nahihirapan kasi ako magsalita” doesn’t mean that the live feed is just disturbing him, I think he find it disrespectful to the late president.

I was surprised last night when I watched the news, Willie was suspended because of what he said. The different ways of thinking of different people just made the things worse. The people inclined in the field of media should be more careful of interpreting such situation.
